Yuko nishikawa | ceramic artist

Raised in a beach-town south of Tokyo, Yuko Nishikawa is a designer and ceramic artist now based in Brooklyn, NY, creating sculptural lighting, installations, custom tableware, and fantastical objects.

Working for years on functional objects for the home and interior design, Yuko encountered clay, a material that opened up wider expressions and experiments for her. At first, bowls and then vases, which lead her to develop artisan collections for Calvin Klein Home and Anthropologie. Then in 2017, she took a sabbatical to work on collaborations for retail and hospitality clients, including Halifax, a restaurant in W Hotel Hoboken, and The James New York, all the while exhibiting artwork and installations through galleries and retailers in Milan, New York, and New Jersey. In 2018, she established a design and art company specializing in sculptural lighting, art objects and installations.

May parsey | designer

May Parsey is a California native who came to New York almost 10 years ago for college and never left. After graduating from Pratt Institute she went on to help create the visual identity for HelloFresh, curate several group gallery shows, and art direct independent publication, Dish Rag Mag. She is currently the full time senior designer and illustrator for Travel+Leisure Magazine. When she’s not neck deep in side projects, she can be found riding her biking, doodling in her sketchbook, or (most likely) playing with her puppy, Pico.
