WHAT IS “THE GREATS OF CRAFT”?

The Greats Of Craft is a new craft beer focused bar at 983 1st Avenue. The bar will feature a rotating selection of 21 draft beers that can be enjoyed at the bar or in the back TV lounge, as well as hundreds of craft beer bottles and cans that can also be purchased to-go. We also feature premium wines, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages from outstanding artisans, many of whom are local to New York. In the mornings, we will eventually operate as a café, serving best-in-class coffee from the renowned Bluestone Lane, and a selection of delicious pastries.

HOW OFTEN DO YOU CHANGE YOUR BEER TAP LIST AND CAN/BOTTLE LIST?

In the blink of an eye! Almost every keg that we pour is a one-off selection from one of our many great craft breweries. You can expect to see the majority of our draft beer selections changing every single week, so if you see one you like on our menu, make sure you stop by for a beer before the keg kicks! The same can be said of our can/bottle list in the coolers, but we do tend to carry some classic craft beers that stay in the fridges regularly.

DO YOU GUYS HAVE A LIST OF ALL THE BEERS YOU HAVE ONLINE?

We try to keep our draft beer menu online as close to what we carry in the store. While we strive to do the same with our packaged beer in the fridges, it is not feasible to always be 100% accurate with what we have in the fridge, given how quickly we rotate products. Check us out on Untappd as well, where we also update our beer offerings. If you ever want to inquire about a specific product, please don’t hesitate to give us a call and ask!

DO YOU SERVE ANYTHING BESIDES BEER?

Yes! We are proud to sell a range of wine, spirits, coffee, and non-alcoholic beverages from some amazing artisans. We have curated a spirit list that exclusively features brands distilled right here in New York State. Our wine program consists of small vineyards from all over the world that focus on low environmental impact harvesting and production techniques – most use sustainable or organic practices, and almost all of our wines are vegan. And lastly, we work with great artisanal local vendors to procure our non-alcoholic beverages, including Coastal Craft Kombucha, Bluestone Lane Coffee, and BrewLab Iced Tea.

WHAT IS GOC SOCIETY?

GOC Society is our membership program that provides an opportunity to our guests to access exclusive beer releases, tastings, events, trips, and much more. Visit greatsofcraft.com/society or email society@greatsofcraft.com to become a member today.

DO YOU SERVE FOOD?

We offer a selection of small bites and snacks that we prepare in-house, and we have partnered with our amazing neighbor Sofia Pizza Shoppe. Sofia is run by a 3rd generation pizza maker, Thomas Degrezia, whose grandfather started the 8th oldest pizzeria in New York back in 1955. Sofia offers a classic New York slice that we are proud to serve hot and fresh at our store.

DO YOU DELIVER?

Not yet. We hope to be able to deliver directly to your home soon, and will post that information as soon as it is available.

DO YOU SELL GROWLERS?

We believe that beer is best drank fresh, straight from the tap or from a can/bottle. Once a growler is opened, the beer loses much of its flavor quality over the course of just a couple of days. As a result, we think it’s always best to buy some cans if you want to stock away beer in your fridge to drink at home.

DO YOU SELL KEGS?

Not yet, but we hope to begin offering kegs to corporate clients soon. Feel free to reach out if your office is in midtown and has a kegerator set up.
